“From east to west, I have worked with artists across the globe.”
Hello! I'm Natalie, a fashion photographer from Penang Island, Malaysia—a place rich in diverse ethnicities, cultural traditions, and (most importantly) impeccable food. Currently pursuing a (BA) in Fashion Photography at the University of the Arts London, I shoot with digital and analogue to bring narratives to life. My work focuses on capturing clothes as reflections of cultural backgrounds and identity. With certifications in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, I employ my visual design skills to blend modern and traditional techniques to elevate my images.
On the side, I'm a cafe hunter! It's almost shameful to admit that imagining fictional narratives for passersby based on their fashion choices has become one of my avid hobbies. I'm interested in anthropology and psychology, particularly how fashion influences our everyday lives. Being in London has given me amazing opportunities to meet other creatives and expand my journey as a photographer.
